BLOOD COMPACT
It is an act of treaty or friendship which have been done by Miguel Lopez de Legazpi and Rajah Sikatuna in bohol. In which they cut a part on their wrist, the blood that flows will be placed in a cup filled with wine and afterwards they will drink it. It is the First Treaty or Friendship between two different races, culture and religion. In local term it is called as “Sanduguan”
RUINS OF BACLAYON CHURCH
La Purisima Concepcion de la Virgen Maria Parish Church or commonly known as Baclayon Church. It is considered as the Oldest church in the Philippines. And have been declared as one of The National Cultural Treasure by the National Museum of the Philippines and a National Historical Landmark by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines. But because of the Earthquake that hit Bohol with the Magnitude of 7.2, Baclayon was destroyed.
LOBOC / LAOAY RIVER
Enjoy a Local Cuisine Lunch at Loboc/Laoay River. On the middle of the ride you will be serenaded by the local people performing a Local song and dance. The river cruises will start in the Town of Loboc and travel upstream to the Busay Falls.
TARSIER
A Tarsier Measures 4 to 5 inches and is considered as the world’s smallest primate, its tale is longer that its body. Tarsiers have large mesmerizing eyes whose bony eye sockets are larger than its brain case as well as of its stomach also Tarsiers are Nocturnal which means they are asleep at day and awake at night. They hide in hollows close to the ground; hunts and feeds mainly on fruits and insects such as cockroaches, crickets, and sometimes small lizards. In the 1960’s, they were a common sight in the southern part of Bohol, but now only an estimated 1000 exists in the wild.
MANMADE FOREST
When you enter the forest, you will feel the sudden change in temperature, especially during summer or hot season. It is hot outside the forested area, but once under the overhanging trees, you will be refreshed by the cool breeze.
BUTTERFLY SANCTUARY
There are over 60 species of Butterfly that visits the Garden Naturally, Where you can see the evolution of a Cocoon becoming a Butterfly.
CHOCOLATE HILLS
There are at least 1,260 hills and 1,776 that spreads over 5000 hectares of Land. The hills will turn brown when the season is dry, hence the name of the hills. The Chocolate hills is declared as the country’s third National Geological Monument and proposed for inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
