Check in 6:00pm at NAIA3 Airport for evening flight to Tel Aviv via Dubai on Emirates Airlines.
Arrival in Ben Gurion Airport, Tel Aviv at 10:25AM. We pass through security check then we meet with our guide and drive along the Mediterranean coast in Tel Aviv and have a stroll in Jaffa, see the ancient streets (Biblical Joppa) where Peter saw a vision of unclean animals leading him to an encounter with Cornelius. Dinner & Overnight in Tel Aviv.
We check out of our hotel after breakfast and begin our tour in Caesarea Maritima by the Mediterranean Sea. This is where the first Gentile convert, Cornelius, met Peter. We proceed to Mount Precipe, believed to be the site of the Rejection of Jesus described in the Gospel of Luke. Nazareth Village is our next stop where we experience what it was like at the time of Jesus. Renew our marriage vows at Cana as we remember the first miracle performed by Jesus. We check-in to our hotel in Tiberias for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast proceed to Caesarea Philippi, where Peter declared that Jesus is the Messiah. Visit Capernaum, where a synagogue was found dating back at the time of Jesus. Experience a St Peter’s Fish Lunch. The feeding of the 5000 is commemorated at Tabgha. Jesus called Peter to “feed His sheep” at the Peter’s Primacy along the banks of the Sea of Galilee. Recite the Beatitudes at the Mount where we remember the teachings of Jesus. Dinner & Overnight in Tiberias.
We check out of our hotel, and today we focus on sites from the life of Christ and take a boat ride across the Sea of Galilee as we sing praises to the Lord. View the “Jesus Boat” an ancient boat used by fishermen in that area during the first century. Proceed at Yardenit, the traditional baptismal site in the Jordan River. We visit an archaeological site of Beit Shean, then we descend below sea level to the southern edge of the Dead Sea and check in to our hotel there, enjoy an “Unsinkable Swim” in the Dead Sea. Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast and check out, we drive down South to the Dead Sea. Take a cable car up to Masada and take a tour of the historical fortress built by Herod the Great. We stop next to Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found among its caves. We then take the Road to Jericho. The City that Joshua first conquered and where Jesus met Zacchaeus sitting atop a Sycamore Tree. We drive up to Jerusalem for check-in and Dinner. In the evening we visit Western wall and Western Wall Tunnel. Overnight in Jerusalem.
After Breakfast we drive to Mount of Olives to see a panoramic view of the old city of Jerusalem, we then walk down the Palm Sunday Road stopping by the Dominus Flevit where a church was built to remember the place where Jesus wept over Jerusalem. At the foot of the mount is the Garden of Gethsemane where the Church of All Nations is built. We proceed to Israel Museum then to Yad Vashem. We drive to Bethlehem and visit the Church of the Nativity where the Bethlehem Star commemorates the place of the Manger. We end the day at Shepherd’s Fields. We return to our hotel in Jerusalem for Dinner and Overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel and an early start at the Temple Mount, where the temple was located in Jesus time. We enter the Old City through Lion’s gate, walk the way of suffering, the Via Dolorosa beginning at the Pools of Bethesda and sing praises at St. Anne’s church. Pass through Antonia Fortress to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Visit the Cardo and end the day at the Temple Institute. We return to our hotel in Jerusalem for Dinner and Overnight.
We check out of our hotel and start at the Garden Tomb for a communion service. Proceed to Mount Zion and visit the Upper Room, see King David’s tomb and the traditional site of the Lord’s Supper. We then drive for airport check in at 3:00pm for our flight back home.
