ISRAEL TOUR III

Departure from Manila (NAIA Terminal 3) via Dubai on Emirates Airlines.

Upon arrival in Tel Aviv, Israel and after customs formalities and meeting with the Tours Representative. Visit Jaffa and visit the traditional site of the house of Simon the tanner. Proceed to Caesarea Maritima and transfer to Tiberias along the Sea of Galilee. Dinner and overnight in Tiberias

After breakfast proceed to Chorazin, where Christ pronounced judgment upon the cities and towns that rejected the gospel. A boat ride along the Sea of Galilee reminds us of Jesus’ ministry around the Galilee. Experience a St Peter’s Fish Lunch. Jesus called Peter to “feed His sheep” at the Peter’s Primacy along the banks of the Sea of Galilee. Recite the Beatitudes at the Mount where we remember the teachings of Jesus. At the end of the day, we will visit Yardenit in the Jordan River for symbolic Baptism.

Visit Nazareth, the boyhood home of Jesus. At the Nazareth Village, we will walk back in the ancient times to understand the ways of the people that lived in the area. Renew your marriage vows at Cana as we remember the first miracle performed by Jesus. Stop at Megiddo, one of the chariot cities of King Solomon then See the site where Elijah challenged the priests of Baal at Mount Carmel.

Visit the Temple Mount where the Temple once stood and is now the site of the Dome of the Rock and El Aqsa Mosque. Then we briefly stop at the Western Wall (Wailing Wall). Visit Western Wall Tunnels. Walk the way of suffering, the Via Dolorosa beginning at the Pools of Bethesda and sing praises at St Anne’s Church, stopping by Ecce Homo considered to be where Jesus’ trial by Pontius Pilate took place. Proceed at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and ending the day at the Cardo.

Drive to Masada and take a cable car up to the top of this zealot fortress. Visit Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found, authenticating the Bible for more than 2000 years. Visit Jericho the first city that was conquered by Joshua. See the Sycamore tree and view the mount of temptation. If time permits, float on the Dead Sea for an unsinkable experience.

After breakfast proceed Bethlehem, we visit the Church of the Nativity where the Bethlehem Star commemorates the place of the manger. Visit the Shepherds’ Fields. After lunch we proceed to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of Jerusalem then proceed down the Palm Sunday Road for a triumphal entry experience, stopping at Dominus Flevit where Jesus wept over Jerusalem. Proceed to the Garden of Gethsemane for prayers and end the day at Garden tomb for a communion then proceed to hotel for overnight.

After Breakfast we wrap up the day and proceed at the airport as it is the eve of Yom Kippur, Then transfer to our flight to Manila.
